GENERAL RULES & POLICIES

  • 1. General Conduct and Behavior

  • Respect the Property: Treat the home with care as if it were your own. Any damage or excessive mess may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

  • Quiet Hours: Please respect quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for neighbors.

  • No Parties or Events: No unauthorized parties, events, or gatherings are allowed. Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

  • Guest Limit: The number of guests should not exceed the number agreed upon during booking. Please let us know if additional guests will be staying.

  • No parties or events: Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the  property.

  • 2. Smoking and Alcohol

  • No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is not allowed inside the house. If you wish to smoke, please do so in designated outdoor areas.

  • Responsible Drinking: Please enjoy alcohol responsibly. Any unruly behavior due to alcohol may result in eviction without refund.

  • 3. Pet Policy

  • Pets: Only pets listed in the reservation are allowed. If pets are allowed, please clean up after them and ensure they are well-behaved.

  • 4. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in Time: Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Early check-ins may be available with prior approval.

  • Check-out Time: Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Late check-out may incur additional charges if not approved in advance.

  • 5. Cleanliness and Garbage

  • Clean Up: Please leave the home in the same condition as you found it. Dispose of trash in the designated bins.

  • Cleaning Fees. Guests may be charged for additional cleaning if the home is left in an unusually dirty state

  • Fish Cleaning: No fish cleaning inside the homes. We can set you up with a cleaning station if needed.

  • Rearranging furniture: Please do not rearrange any of the furniture within the property. Outdoors, there are patio chairs that you can rearrange as you please

  • Eating areas: Eating and drinking should be limited to the kitchen and dining areas. Please refrain from eating/drinking in the bedrooms.

  • 6. Damage, Theft, and Safety

  • Report Damage Immediately: If you notice any damage or malfunctioning appliances during your stay, please notify the host immediately so that it can be addressed.

  • No Vandalism or Theft: Any damages, theft, or deliberate destruction will result in charges for repairs or replacements, and you may be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

  • Fire prevention: Do not smoke or use candles indoors, and be sure to turn off the stove when it’s not in use to prevent fires. Although there is a fire pit in the backyard, fires are prohibited during wildfire season (June-September) to reduce risks.

  • Safety Measures: Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed and locked when leaving the property. Follow all fire safety instructions provided.

  • 7. Appliances and Utilities

  • Use Appliances Responsibly: Please use all appliances (e.g., air conditioning, heating, kitchen appliances) responsibly to avoid unnecessary damage.

  • Energy Conservation: Turn off lights, air conditioning, or heating when not in use to conserve energy.

  • Water Usage: Please conserve water by taking shorter showers and turning off faucets when not in use.

  • 8. Pool, Hot Tub, and Outdoor Areas

  • Pool and Hot Tub Rules: Follow all posted pool and hot tub rules, including showering before entering. Children should always be supervised by an adult.

  • No Glass Around Pool Area: Please use plastic cups, plates, or containers around the pool and hot tub for safety reasons.

  • Outdoor Noise: Be mindful of noise levels in outdoor spaces, especially during the evening hours.

  • 9. Parking and Vehicles

  • Parking: Park only in designated parking areas. Do not block driveways, entrances, or neighbors’ parking spaces.

  • Vehicle Care: Ensure that all vehicles are in good working order to avoid disturbing neighbors or blocking other vehicles.

  • 10. Security and Privacy

  • Security Cameras: There are security cameras on the property for safety purposes. These are only for exterior monitoring and do not infringe on guest privacy.

  • No Unauthorized Entry: Do not allow anyone who isn’t listed on your reservation to enter the property.

  • Lock Doors: Please lock all doors and windows when you leave the property to ensure your safety and security.

  • 11. Internet and Technology

  • Wi-Fi Usage: Wi-Fi is provided for your use. Please do not download large files or engage in illegal online activities. Respect bandwidth limits.

  • Streaming and Devices: If streaming services are available, please be respectful and log out of accounts upon check-out.

  • 12. Local Regulations and Environmental Respect

  • Respect Local Laws: Abide by all local laws and ordinances. Be mindful of noise ordinances and respectful of the local community.

  • Environmental Considerations: Recycle appropriately, and avoid wasting resources like water and electricity.

  • 13. Emergency Contact Information

  • Emergency Contact: In case of an emergency or urgent issue, contact the host or property manager immediately.

  • First-Aid Kit: The property is equipped with a first-aid kit; please notify us if it is missing any supplies.

  • Emergency Numbers: Emergency numbers (fire, police, medical) will be provided in the welcome guide.
